Guilfest Festival 2012 has added another eleven acts to the line up for the 21st instalment of the family friendly festival which will be held at Stoke Park, Guildford from Friday 13th to Sunday 15th July 2012.
Ash, ABC, The South (formerly The Beautiful South), Heaven 17, The Beat, Republica, Andy c, Benga, Sub Focus (DJ set), Kids In Glass Houses and StooShe have been added to the line up across The Main Stage, The Good Time Guide Stage, The Vive La Rock Stage and The Kane FM presents Funky End Dance Tent.
Previously announced to headline the Guilfest 2012 were Olly Murs, Bryan Ferry, Jools Holland & His Rhythm and Blues Orchestra feat. Roland Gift. Also announced were Tulisa, Jimmy Cliff, Gary Numan, Candi Staton, Cher Lloyd, Tim Minchin, Chic feat. Nile Rodgers, The Straits, Buzzcocks, The Undertones, Nouvelle Vague, Skindred, Beth Hart, Young Guns and The Wurzels.
GuilFest is an independent music and arts festival held in the beautiful surroundings of Stoke Park, Guildford. The festival is famedmed for its eclectic line ups and fun and friendly atmosphere, GuilFest offers a weekend of great live musical entertainment set across 8 stages, crossing all genres.
About 200 acts are expected to perform at the three day festivals and new additions to the festival’s bill will happen in the weeks to come.
Started in 1992 by Tony Scott, who still runs and directs the festival, the first festival attracted 1,500 people per day. Now in its 21st year, GuilFest is attracting up to 20,000 visitors each day.

Camping begins Thursday 12th July at 10am, all the way through to Midday on Monday 16th July, GuilFest’s spacious camping areas are some of the best in the festival scene, with access to plenty of water and toilets as well as friendly security, stewards, and fire points situated all over the camping areas. To keep you entertained on Thursday night there is even a special bar and disco in the camping area!
