Bloc Party are set to release their fourth studio effort, which will be titled ‘Four’, on August 20th. The London four-piece had earlier announced shows in Glasgow and Manchester as part of their European tour and have now added another six dates to the UK leg of the tour.
All Bloc Party UK dates are listed below. The band will also play at a number of summer festivals including appearances at Pukkelpop and Ibiza and Mallorca Rocks.
Bloc Party have been working on the follow-up to 2008′s ‘Intimacy’ for over a year, and for a while it looked like the band would record the new album without frontman Kele Okereke, who was busy working on other projects, but things seem to be OK now.
Bloc Party’s October 2012 UK tour dates are:
